Meaning of the Numbers:

The number One – Will Power
To realize, to create and to start our life that meets our expectations, we need a strong will. A person born with this number will always have a strong will.


The number Two - Wisdom
Before we can make headways in our life, we need to find an idea that inspires us. The best ideas are to be found in our subconscious, which stores all our life experiences: Everything we have ever heard, seen or learned. A person born with this number will always have the best access to this place of wisdom, the subconscious.


The number Three - Creativity
In order to bring our ideas into reality, we will need some draw on the stream of creativity. This number has the meaning and energy of creativity.


The number Four - Work
Next, we have some hard work ahead of us. The number Four has the meaning and energy of hard work.


The number Five - Experience
Through all of this, we will have some learning experiences. Number Five has a meaning and energy of experiences.


The number Six - Family
This number is quite important, since it shows the importance and influence of family. The cradle of our life influences us greatly. The number Six has the meaning and energy of family matters.


The number Seven - Intelligence
Whatever we do, whether working on a career or solving problems, we need to draw on our source of intelligence. Number seven has the meaning and energy of intelligence.


The number Eight - Career
Sooner or later, we begin building our careers. In life nothing should be taken for granted. Everything should be accepted and carefully nourished. The meaning belonging to number Eight is the energy of a career.


The number Nine - Spirit
It surely seems like this: In our previous incarnations, we experienced it all. Now is the time to get spiritual. Number Nine is the last number and has spiritual energy and meaning of intuition.



About understanding Numerology

We can look at everything within our earthly existence from different points of view. We are aware of the physical, emotional or spiritual sides of life. The meaning of the number or energy we are born in too can be looked at as a two sided coin. One side cannot exist without the other. This is the well known law of duality, or of ‘the opposites’. Because of this law, nothing exist, nothing can exist without it’s opposite. This is how we are able to perceive and understand things. If we only had one hand, would we know whether this hand was the right or the left one? And where is left when there is no right? Nothing exists without the opposite. Not for us and not as long as we live our predetermined lives. We begin our lives at birth and come to life’s end at death. Always!

One of the best recognized symbols for the law of duality is the many
Centuries old symbol of Yin and Yang. Yin is the dark, female energy and Yang is the bright male energy. Each contains a peace of each other. Only when Yin and Yang are together, do we comprehend completeness.

Every human being will be born with certain number and energy. This special energy will definitely have meaning for her life. This will be the field, the area where she can and will learn and be most effective.

There are two sets of numbers which influence us. There is a personal number that can influence us actively or passively. There is also a spiritual number that influences us in a spiritual way. It is not easy to fully understand or comprehend what motivates us to act in certain way or why our character is predetermined by our behaviour. A quest for learning and the study of spiritual texts can give us some in-sights, the sight that comes from within.

Example of how given numbers can manifest: A person who is indecisive and shy, but who would like to be just the opposite can be born with the number one; meaning of strong will. This person, of course, is aware that she is lacking this particular energy of strong will. The fight for strong will and determination will be a task for life and probably a life long struggle. In this case, birth numbers are not balanced. Instead of being in harmony, there will be too much Yin or too little Yang. Meaning and balance are always determined by two opposite sides of Yin and Yang.

Yin numbers are 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.
Yang numbers are 2, 4, 6 and 8.

If we look at ourselves and our given problems in this way, and if we try to understand it through duality, we will be able to see in which extreme we got lost. We have a chance to collect ourselves, to reflect and start to move to the centre where truth is, the balance. Being only human, we can not combine both opposite energies into oneness. If we could, this would mean we would be perfect as God is perfect.
But we certainly can try to restore balance, look for the golden middle, and in so doing gain the ability to learn our life lessons. We all have a task in life. It is important to become discover and come into an awareness of this special task because our ultimate goal is to a distinguished graduate from the “University of Life”.
We find exceptional beauty in the many pleasant experiences that make life worth living. In the harmony of music, in the harmony of movement, which is a vibration; the special music we listen to projects the beauty of our soul, body and mind. Sometimes we like soft, pleasant and calming music; and sometimes we like, or maybe need, more ‘activating’ music. All movements, all vibrations that surround us are powerful forces which we can use for our development and growth towards our final destination, Oneness. In the Spiritual world in which we live, the End of Evolution is always Oneness. We have many tools that we can use to create a special, unique way of living.
The food we eat surely is one of the pleasant things in our life and it also submits to the law of duality. Sweat and salty are the basic agents, and if we want to create the perfect dish, we had better use both of them. Of course, this depends on the nature of the dish we are preparing. In every cake there is always a bit of salt present and in the every gravy or sauce there will be a bit sugar.
Our views about life vary from person to person. We have different perspectives because come from different environment or belong to a different culture. But basically, life is life! It is physical and it is spiritual. And wherever we are on this beautiful planet, we need to survive physically as well as spiritually



NUMEROLOGY



The Universe! What is Universe?
This big space with its sun systems has always been and always will be very difficult for most of us to understand. But I believe that by trying to understand the Universe, we become unique. We are thinkers who question things and have an insatiable hunger to know more about this strange, beautiful world in which we live. There will always be the exceptional and gifted ones, great minds who are able to send rockets to other planets in a way that they don’t go on a head-on collision with other planets or asteroids. And these minds are able to calculate the way space and motion go hand-in-hand with numbers and time.
We know how and why time functions as it does. The smallest unit is one. One minute, one hour, one day, and one week, one month, one year; Time on Earth that is. Mercury for example has a different time dimension, where each day has 59 hours. All these numbers affect the way our Earth behaves and moves and, in turn, affect the way we behave and move.

A Time begins with movement. Earth time is based on the rotation of
our planet in relation to the other moving and stationary planets and particles in our solar, Sun, system. The calculation of time, space and speed are sets of numbers which we use to send rockets into space with precise destinations.
The Universe moves and transforms itself every single moment. Numbers and mathematics form the language of science. That is why numbers have their own, unique language. Mathematics is the Queen of science. Mathematicians create and invent totally imaginary mathematical study, examine and do tons of research on their inventions; wracking their great minds just to prove or disprove their theories.
Our number system goes all the way from one to nine without repeating itself. Actually, it goes to ten, but if you add one plus zero, you get one again. These nine numbers are our basic numbers. All combinations of these numbers form a strong and influential language in our lives.
I do not believe numerology can be determined by using the letters which form our given names. People basically are all the same. The only thing that makes us vary in different ways is whether we are diligent or lazy, good or bad, smart or foolish and so on. Furthermore, with various races having different cultures and ways of writing, determining the numbers of every person through his name is almost impossible, not to mention inaccurate.
Arabs or Chinese, for example, write in a completely different ways, and use different letters, thus making letters in names unreliable and too variable. More importantly I believe, we are all basically nameless. With people, name is just a name. People, of course, need names. Otherwise, we would name ourselves in the same manner Native American Indians. Our names would describe something special about us, like: Big nose, Long Neck, The One who Dances with Wolves, and so on. I admit that I like this way very much. It is quite creative and descriptive. But, these names are only given after the person is entitled to this special name. And these are long names, too long for the fast, go-getter world we live in. And moreover, who wants to be called Big Nose, anyway? We need names, but personally, a name is just a name. They are not that important. People choose and change their names all the time, through marriage, through courts of law, and even through the whims of our parents.
At the time of our births we had no name, but we had a number. And that is what is most essential about numerology. The number is the name we inherently were given at birth.
All numbers are integrated within and form a vital part of our Earth, with each number having its own specific science of energy. Each number has a different task, fate and meaning, which we will explain later in the individual chapters on personal/ spiritual numbers.
Every number, as we said, has two sides of the same energy; two opposites, like in a good or bad way depending on the given balance, with an Oneness that belongs only to God. But opposite energies, like weak and strong, only have meaning in relation to its opposite. This is very much like the Chinese way, of in and Yang, which has conquered our world. In their constant movement, the Sun (Yang) and Moon (Yin) are symbols for the opposite energies, and the circle around them is Tao, the Way, which makes it complete. We can think of our minds in a similar way. There is a rational and a creative side of the brain. We have a conscious and subconscious mind. If we speak symbolically, the conscious mind would be like a Sun, the Yang, and the subconscious mind would be like Moon, the Yin. When the Sun shines in the sky, the Moon can barely be seen, but it’s there. Our subconscious mind rules our lives when our conscious mind sleeps.
Actually, it really is all about the mind; if our mind changes, so does our appearance, but not other way around. We know that computers are incapable of mental perception, language comprehension and cannot retrieve memory from the conscious or subconscious sources. They are machines. We know that, and yet we take our mind for granted. Jean Aitchison in his book The Words in Mind says:
“The human brain is capable of massive parallel processing; an uncountable number of connections can be made simultaneously. It activates many more connections than are strictly needed for almost every brain process, than suppresses those which are not required. Quantity wise, the sheer number of interwoven links within the brain makes it almost inconceivable that a computer could ever handle them all. Quality wise, the organization of this multiplex web is the key factor, yet it is still a mystery.”
Nature is an excellent thinker, a divine artificer. Many of us feel, believe or sense that this is an Ultimate Truth. In further elaboration he verifies this belief.
“Parts of living organism get modified for new purposes and compromises have to be made. The human mouth and throat are moderately useful for eating, speaking and breathing, but are not ideal for any of them. More jagged teeth might be better for eating, but would interfere with the production of sounds. Our steam-lined throat is useful for speech, but makes it possible for us to choke, since the wind-pipe cannot be closed off. Language in general is an evolutionary mish-mash: ‘Language has grown up like any big city: room by room/ word by word, house by house/sentence by sentence, street by street/paragraph by paragraph…and all this is boxed together, tied together smeared together.”
And so are we!

There are energies that affect daily concerns. There are better places than others to build houses or structures, places with the strongest potential for health and vitality and where plants and nature can best flourish. Though these energy locations are not visible, they can be mathematically deduced. They are expressed as intensified energy. And, there are some gifted people who can sense these energy locations.
Time and numbers: Time expressed and measured by numbers, by units, by minutes; one or three hours, fifteen or fifty weeks, etc. We all have a personal number which was determined the moment we were born.
And there is a number for a certain week, a specific month, a particular year. The energy of that certain week or specific month combined with your spiritual number will have an influence you and your energy for that particular week. Two numbers are always working together. This is how numerology works.

Let’s look at one more example before we calculate your personal number. When there are two Yin numbers working together, there is no balance. So it is advisable to know when we should look for balance.
The forecasts here are made on a weekly basis. Since a week is only a short period, it is advisable to consider a monthly forecast. Of course, this will require us to calculate a monthly forecast.


Dear reader,

If you want to find out how your soul feels, what it craves for, what is the essence and purpose of your life on Earth and through which energy you tend to learn you have to look at your spiritual number;
from your personal number but you will discover the resources your soul energy requires to manifest.

For example, a person born with a spiritual number 5 and a personal number 2 will rather go for and through many experiences even though the wisdom he wants to achieve he could learn through studying and learning from the books.

HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR PERSONAL NUMBER


For example we have here a person born 26. 08.1963, not considering which part of the world the person were born. You have to remember that we are looking only at one-digit numbers.
2+6+0+8+1+9+6+3 = 35 = 3+5 = 8

HOW TO FIND OUT YOUR SPIRITUAL NUMBER

We will use the same date of birth again: 26. 08.1963. To find out spiritual number, the number one’s soul is about and through which it responds to the life, we have to calculate the numbers of the day and the numbers of the month we are born in – without the year number. Like
2+6+0+8 = 16 = 1+6 = 7
Our person has a spiritual number SEVEN

HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR WEEKLY NUMBER

Let’s see how to calculate your weekly number. Here again you have to calculate all digit numbers of this week together. For example, we need your number for the week in June from 20th to 26th of the year 2005. Always from Monday to Sunday! We calculate:
20 + 21 + 22 + 23 + 24 + 25 + 26 = is a very long way
2+0/ 2+1/ 2+2/ 2+3/ 2+4/ 2+5/ 2+6/
=2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 = 35 = 3 + 5 = 8
Number eight is the number of this particular week.


To read the forecast for this week you, you will need to add a week number (8), a month number (6), a year number (here 2+0+0+5 = 7) and your personal number. The week + the month + a year number + your personal number!
8(week number) +6(month number) +7(year number) +8(personal number = 8+6+7+8= 29 = 11 = 2

Our person, born 26.08.1963 with a personal number eight would during the
week from June 20th to June 26th 2005 come under the influence of the energy of number two.

Once determined, he/she now only has to look under his/hers spiritual number, which is the number seven (26. 08= 2+6+0+8= 16= 1+6=7), to see the forecast: Forecast for the number Seven with the influence of the number Two.

Calculating your MONTHLY number, which I personally prefer, is as follows:
Your personal number + the number of the month + the year number!

For example, a person whose personal basic number is 7 and wishes to know his number for the month of July 2005 that would be:
7 + 7 + 7 = 21 = 2 +1 = 3

With that, our person will be influenced by the energy of number three, and will have to look into a forecast under his spiritual number with the influence of the number three. Here, it would mean that his/hers intelligence will want to go towards more creative means of manifesting itself; this particular person will during this time love to use words – written or spoken.

SPIRITUAL / PERSONAL NUMBER ONE


This is the first number, and of course it makes sense that this number denotes beginnings. For in every beginning there is a will. People born with this number generally have a very strong will, and other people generally view them as stubborn. They have to learn how to live with this strong will and mental strength without putting mental pressure or unduly influencing the people around them. They can be very self- centred, especially in the midst of crises where it would be better to employ the mind and not the will.
They need to learn to respect and be considerate of other people’s rights and needs.

Balancing ones strong will and mental power without being overbearing can be very difficult for this number. But the meaning of a strong will can also be very positive if birth numbers are in balance. This will be explained later in this guide.
The Number One person will have to look inside himself in order to decide what is best for him and the people around him. Each decision should be looked from others’ point of view in order to avoid conflict. If not, this will cause problems, as this number, when not in harmony will lead to too much freedom from responsibilities, much like an island in a sea of people.

If number one doesn’t learn, he will always have problems in life. The Number One person who has not yet resolved this problem, or refused to face it, will be ignored by his friends and relatives. People around him will simply run away.
Unbalanced number Ones usually end up marrying people with extremely strong personas. So until number Ones learn the art of balancing, he will never learn how to be free. Free mentally and financially from others, but still considerate of the need and will of others.

Some people born with this number will take a long time to free themselves, but most often they succeed. Those who learned about this part of themselves early turn out to be good leaders. These number One people are people of great courage and willpower, and it’s always a pleasure to know of such people.
The person that would suit a number One best is the number Six, which is the number of family matters. This number would make number One softer, less stubborn and most of all, make number One learn faster.

There are different ways of looking at the numbers.
Let’s look at a few examples.

Example 1

BIRTH 26 03 1970 = 28 = 10 = 1
=8 + 3 + 8 (17=1+7=8) = 19 = 10 = 1

We always look at one digit numbers. This particular number One is going through two Yang numbers (8,8) and through two Yin numbers(3,1). Two number eights with a number three in the middle. This person will solve all problems relating to the matter of a strong will soon very early because his numbers are balanced. There are two Yin and two Yang numbers. Number eight is the number of career and number three is the number of creativity. This number could be very successful. But a stubborn person cannot be successful, so the problems in this case should be solved during his early teen years.


Example 2

BIRTH 6. + 4 + 1962 = 28 = 1
6 + 4 + 9 = 19 = 10 = 1

Look only at one digit numbers. This number One is also balanced. There are two Yin (1,9) and two Yang (6,4) numbers. But this number One is going through career and family matters before he can work on himself. In this case, family comes first and holds a lot of meaning for this person, and some work within the family has to be attended to first, and only then can he use the energy of number Nine, the energy of intuition. This number will eventually solve his problems regarding the balance he needs in his life.


Example 3

BIRTH 7 + 5 + 1960 = 28 = 10 = 1
7 + 5 + 7 = 19 = 10 = 1

Look only at one digit numbers. This number is totally out of balance with himself. All numbers are Yin numbers, and there is too much of Yin energy. Because of unbalanced energies, this number One person could be prone to illness. Double number Seven, the energy of intelligence, will have great difficulty because of number Five in the middle. The number Five would consequently lead him into experiences. With unbalanced energies, the experiences could be difficult. This person will solve his problems very late, maybe too late. For this person, it would be better to look for help, in order to learn quickly.

Combination of energies between spiritual number One and the personal numbers:
Spiritual number One having personal number One:
This combination is negative with both numbers being yin numbers. There is no balance, so the given energy of a strong will leads this person into stubbornness; Stubbornness and success but is not compatible.

Spiritual number One having personal number Two:
This combination is positive. There is a yin and a yang number which makes for quite a balanced personality. This person will go to the root of all things that interested her.

Spiritual number One having personal number Three:
This combination is negative. With both numbers being yin numbers, this person will most likely be a good debater. He will have a good command of the language, but he tends to spend too little time on the content of his speech. Maybe he/she would tell more by saying little?

Spiritual number One having personal number Four:
This combination is positive. The energy of a strong will is going to manifest itself in hard work. This combination makes for a stable and diligent person.

Spiritual number One having personal number Five:
This combination is negative and so this person will want to manifest his strong will through experiences. These are not always good, but they definitely are the most memorable.

Spiritual number One having personal number Six:
This combination is positive as the energy of strong will would also be exercised on the domestic stage, meaning consideration for the importance of the family, but not despotic behaviour.

Spiritual number One having personal number Seven:
This combination is negative. Both numbers are yin numbers and this usually manifests itself in the academically arrogant behaviour of a ‘know it all’ person.

Spiritual number One having personal number Eight:
This is a positive and powerful combination. The urge to manifests her strong will can find its outlet in a career, and most probably this career will be of importance.

Spiritual number One having personal number Nine:
This combination is negative. This person might reject all beliefs and faiths. But is this good? Remember, a person who doesn’t believe anything is a person who believes everything! Dangerous? Yes, definitely.

SPIRITUAL / PERSONAL NUMBER TWO

Number Two person is looking, struggling for harmony and peace within himself; and this rather in solitude because many of them are loners. This is a Yang number and the number of peace although very often this number lacks Yang energy and because of this the quest for peace and harmony is the reason the number Two person starts looking into his subconscious a bit later. Subconscious-ness is a place of wisdom and although we can hardly reach for, it contains collected wisdom of all times.

The number Two person is often born into a family where nobody shares his opinions, and sometimes family members and relatives don’t share his views on purpose. The number Two will seldom be praised, and his best is never good enough. This makes him less confident and as a result he is unable to take criticism from anybody, not even from the very people he likes. This leads to another problem which is making decisions. Never being sure, whether the decision is right or wrong, can be a prevailing conflict! To come out of this process unscathed, to free himself is a great mental work, and because of this number Twos turn out to be very wise by the time he frees himself. Traces of this process will be forever etched in a number Two’s mind, causing some melancholy once in a while.
Number Two is very often the object of gossip. People love to talk about him, and it looks like this is karmic. This number is born with an enormous wisdom which he will be mostly able to reach and discover midlife. Then he will begin to learn, like travelling the known road for the first time. People around him seldom understand this and start to talk about him. However, number Two should never react to this, because this is not their problem. Let them talk. It is their problem, not yours. The number Two is only the mirror and shows them things they aren’t able to accept about themselves; they only transfer their problems not understanding why the number Two person seems so subservient, so calm. The mirror but can only show the surface, never the inside of the projection.
Number Two people often have very good ideas, clever and determined in whatever he wants to do in life. Very often this number does his work well and yet others will be praised for it. It is important for number Two to remember that, when it comes to ideas, projects and special work, they should be kept out of sight from anyone until they are completed – and safe from being stolen by others. People born under this number are very often victims of intellectual theft, and often others will be praised for work and ideas the number Two has done or developed. The subconscious mind of number Two is place of wisdom, and when number he picks up ideas from this source, this cannot be denied, it becomes a brilliant idea, a successful plan with a tremendous result.
When in harmony this person could be the best diplomat.
Number Seven would suit number Two best and would be easiest to get along with. This number is able to respond to the number Two’s ideas, picks them up fast and gives them an intellectual touch and your ideas would be safe too, and amidst this wealth of getting and giving, not only ideas blossom, but also love.

4 + 8 = 8 = 20 = 2

Look at one digit numbers! Here all numbers are Yang numbers, and number Two cannot be in harmony. This number is going through the numbers of work, and twice through the number of career. This number Two will surely start to work on his career very soon with ignoring his spiritual side first, and will be successful before he starts to working on himself. Exchanging the career for the spiritual and mental development can be very radical.
Example: A career person selling himself; his principles, his scruples, his self-esteem - just to be successful in the quickest way possible.


Example 2:
BIRTH 23 + 9 + 1941 = 29 = 11 = 2
5 + 9 + 6 = 20 = 2

Again, one digit numbers! This combination has two Yin and two Yang numbers. This number Two will be in harmony with himself after resolving problems forced on him through some past experiences. To resolve problems and conflicts soon will be his wish, alas the family could suffer. But it will be hard. This number goes through the energies of experiences, intuition and family. This is a long way before attaining peace, but he will learn a lot yet wisdom will be attained fast enough to use it within his own family.


Example 3:
BIRTH 6 1 1993 = 29 = 11 = 2
6 1 4 = 11 = 2

With the one digit numbers, we have two Yang and two Yin numbers again. Numbers are balanced, but here some work will have to be done on the person’s will power. This person will comply too much first. Realizing it, he then will try to achieve respect and appreciation, but it won’t be easy. This combination shows a typical struggle of the number Two.

Combinations of energies between spiritual number Two and various personal numbers:

Spiritual number Two having personal number One: This combination is positive, energies are balanced, here number Two will be most probably urged to dig into knowledge not only to get a good education that generally gives a better position in life, but also to satisfy his enormous thirst for knowledge.

Spiritual number Two having personal number Two: Here are two Yang numbers, two numbers of the same meaning. This, of course, can’t work out well. Probably this would make a daydreamer, a person who likes to think, but is possibly unaware of wasting his time away - until late, maybe too late.

Spiritual number Two having personal number Three: This combination is positive and strong, especially if so born person would choose artistic way to express himself. Good ideas with gift of creativity - quite interesting.

Spiritual number Two having personal number Four: This is a negative combination and difficult to overcome, though number Two will manage it after all. But here number Two will need a good dose of self-discipline, which will have to be learned first.

Spiritual number Two having personal number Five: This is a positive combination and so born number Two will have the power to come out of experiences richer and wiser than ever before. This kind of a person is able to learn through mistakes other people have made.

Spiritual number Two having personal number Six: Here number Two person will have some family problems to solve or to overcome; Problems that can be traced back to childhood and which take more time to be solved.

Spiritual number Two having personal number Seven: Again, a very positive combination. Exploring once mind with given intelligence. Well, that could make up for a scientist, a pharmacy researcher or similar.

Spiritual number Two having personal number Eight: This negative combination is troublesome as will tempt number Two into career too early, before it’s time and before he/she could dwell with sufficient time in the place where he could gather and look for good ideas.

Spiritual number Two having personal number Nine: This is a positive combination, the power of subconscious with a spiritual touch. That combination could make for a priest or a social worker.

SPIRITUAL / PERSONAL NUMBER THREE


Number Three is the number which has the energy of creativity. People born with this number generally end up in the world of entertainment and the arts. Of course on different levels and capacities; a businessman whose success is based on words and entertaining his clients can be a good example.
Number Threes are mostly born into a family where a number of relatives and even friends are fighting their free will. From an esoteric point of view, the number Three is a word. The first number connotes willpower, the second the subconscious and the next, the number three, represents personal development.
